Art Alternatives Artists’ Linen Canvas is triple-primed with clear gesso, allowing the unique texture and color of the linen canvas to show through. Made of archival quality, medium-weight 100% linen, it is stretched around beveled, kiln-dried, Paulownia wood stretcher bars. It features a 1-1/2" thick, staple-free edge that allows for painting on all sides, making it suitable for hanging with or without a frame. While these canvases are ready to use with acrylics, an appropriate ground should be applied for use with oils.
